The system provides machine operators with unrestricted, yet safe access to a robot’s working area at any
time by adapting the operating conditions to the position of the person. These adaptive perception capabilities
prevent the risk of accidents from occurring and simultaneously improve productivity.
The SRAP system consists of a Flexi Soft safety controller and a safety laser scanner—either the space-saving
S300 Mini Remote for shorter scanning ranges or the microScan3 Core for larger monitoring fields.
SRAP is a complete turnkey solution that is ready to use in no time at all. With prefabricated and tested soft-
ware function blocks, the safety system can be integrated with ease and fits seamlessly into the controllers of
all standard industrial robots.
Designed as a standard solution for numerous STUDER O.D. and I.D. grinding
machines, the flexLoad system is a fully integrated robotic loader that offers
impressive boosts to productivity and efficiency for shops that require the high-
est level of throughput.
UNITED GRINDING can add optional features such as gauging and barcode
scanning to the system or an air nozzle for clearing away coolant. Furthermore,
with its full-system sheet metal enclosure, safety is easy to maintain, as the main
access door and drawers will not open without the operator’s explicit permission.
Since the loader and machine are connected via a side flanged panel, rather than
an automatic door, safety is maintained, and overall cycle times can be reduced
by six to eight seconds.
CARBON VACUUM GRIPPER
The CVGC carbon vacuum gripper is a plug and play product designed for a
variety of cobot models.
With its innovative and lightweight design (< 1 kg for the smallest model), the
carbon vacuum gripper corresponds perfectly to the weight constraints, flexibility,
and safety of collaborative robot applications.
For versatility, it offers quick assembly and disassembly and a foam-gripping
interface that comes in three dimensions suitable for a range of workpieces.

ROBOTIC HAND OPENS UP A RANGE OF OPPORTUNITIES
The SCHUNK SVH mechatronic 5-finger gripper hand, designed for service robotics applications,
grips nearly as perfectly as the human hand. Available either as a left or right hand, it bears a star-
tling resemblance to its human model in terms of size, shape, and agility. Its five fingers can carry
out all kinds of gripping operations with the help of a total of nine drives.
Elastic surfaces on the front phalanxes ensure a reliable hold on the objects it grips. The hand can
perform numerous gestures, which facilitates visual communication between humans and the ser-
vice robot. The open and closed-loop control electronics, as well as the power electronics, are fully
integrated into the wrist, meaning that particularly compact solutions can be achieved.
