topologies such as line networks and
EtherNet/IP network communications are the widely used industrial
protocol for manufacturing automation applications. With EtherNet/IP, users can control, configure, and query a drive using an open, standards-based, industrial EtherNet connection at
speeds up to 100 Mbits/sec. All drive and motor features are accessible over the EtherNet/
IP network, including more than 100 commands and 130 registers for controlling motion, I/O,
configuration, polling, math, register manipulation, and Q programming.
The additional EtherNet/IP communications port on the motors allows for cost savings and
design simplification by reducing cables, eliminating bulky cable trays and downsizing network
switches. The SWM24IP-3DE and TXM24IP-1DG integrated motors are IP65 rated for use in
splash-zone and dirty environments. Each motor features a NEMA 24 mounting flange, which
has the same mounting dimensions as a NEMA 23 motor but with a larger shaft to accommodate a higher torque output. Both motors include a built-in encoder for enhanced positioning

DIGITAL SERVO DRIVE
The first servo drive of the FlexPro digital drive family, the
FE060-25-EM, is designed with a compact form and power
density in mind. The micro-sized drive can outperform larger-sized digital servo drives and still be integrated into tight
At just 1. 5 x 1 x 0.6 in. in size, the footprint of the drive is
approximately the same as two standard postage stamps. In
other words, four of these drives can fit on a standard business card. Even with its small size, the FE060-25-EM can supply brushed, brushless, stepper,
and linear servo motors with up to 25 amps continuous current and 50 amps peak current.
FlexPro is AMC’s newest family of digital servo drives. With cutting edge engineering, FlexPro is
meant to expand the capabilities of AMC’s already powerful and diverse product range. The IM-PAC T architecture allows FlexPro servo drives to maintain the intelligence and power of larger-sized
servo drives while fitting into much more compact packages. The FE060-25-EM is the first drive in
the series with many more to come.

MOTOR SERIES SEAMLESSLY INTEGRATES
WITH SIEMENS’ DRIVE SYSTEM
With the brushless DC motors ( 24 to 48 volts) of the series
BG 45, BG 65(S), BG 75 and BG 95, Dunkermotoren has
been the market leader in the 20-1100 Watt power range
for years. As part of a product partnership with Siemens,
the motors are now available in specific versions compatible
with the SIMATIC MICRO-DRIVE servo drive system.
The simple integration of the SIMATIC MICRO-DRIVE servo
drive system into the SIMATIC world significantly shortens
the engineering time. The integration into Siemens automation technology is possible via the TIA portal and simplifies
commissioning and service. Communication takes place via
PROFINET IRT with PROFIsafe and PROFIdrive profiles. The
Safety Integrated Function SLT ensures a limited torque by
monitoring the motor current during operation.
Smart components in the motor, together with a patented data transmission system, set the controller to a preset
state after it is connected to the motor. Cumbersome drive
tuning and parameterization of the controller control loops
are a thing of the past.
Crydom DRMS Series hybrid motor starters integrate the benefits of both solid state and electromechanical relay tech-
nologies to produce a compact device that can control electrical power delivery to motors as large as 4k W.
Unlike many motor starters of similar size, the DRMS Series offers features such as soft start, soft stop, and an internal
mains disconnect relay in case of a fault. The starter’s soft start/stop functions allow for the gradual increase or decrease
of power control, thereby extending motor life.
Built-in overload protection eliminates the extra cost and space otherwise needed for an additional overload relay.
Other performance characteristics include forward/reverse, adjustable settings for starting/deceleration torque, starting/
deceleration ramp, nominal motor current and a convenient reset button on the front of the unit for external manual reset.
The compact 22 mm wide DIN Rail mount motor starter package features an output rating of 9 Amps at 480 VAC, 24
VDC control voltage, and four easy-to-see LED status indicators.
