EXPANDED CAPACITY BAR PULLER
For CNC lathe automation, the auto-adjusting bar puller EZ-Puller Expanded Capacity supports larger round bar diametersof .093 to 2.00 in. and weighs up to 100lb. The auto-adjust feature is driven by an“X” value in the pulling subroutine ofa lathe program, representing thedistance the tool needs to movein the X-axis according to the bardiameter being pulled.
The patented design of theEZ-Puller uses a cam and liftersystem: hardened steel grippersare attached to hardened steelpivot arms which have an integralcam lobe machined at the top ofthe arm. As the grippers advance overthe bar stock, internal urethane springsare compressed providing a reactiveforce that allows the grippers to securely hold the bar stock. This unique designprovides optimal gripping force regardless ofbar size or shape.
