MOTORS DELIVER SYNCHRONIZED MOVEMENT ACROSS MULTIPLE AXES
VFsync line of Permanent Magnet AC Synchronous (PMAC) motors are designed for use within a wide range of applications including conveyor systems, greenhouse equipment, bottling equipment, bagging equipment, packaging machines, and industrial pumps and mixers.
The motors are variable speed AC motors that run synchronously with an input AC frequency in applications that requiresynchronized movement across multiple axes. The motor rotors contain magnets that precisely follow the internal rotating magnetic field without the slip commonly seen in general induction motors. As a result, the VFsync PMAC motors arehighly effective for applications that require velocity control, with a lower price point than servo counterparts.
The VFsync PMAC motor line fills a gap in the fractional horsepower and integral horsepower market between a simpleinduction motor and a more complex servo motor.

DIGITAL SINGLE PHASE CONVERTERS
Single Phase Power Solutions (SPPS) has partnered with Yaskawa America to incorporate Yaskawa’sVFD and Digital Single-Phase Converters within Single Phase’ engineered power systems. Availability ofthese digital solutions enhances SPPS’capabilities to engineer custom designs based on application-spe-cific parameters to deliver clean, stable, reliable three-phase power from single phase utility service.
In many areas of the country, it is prohibitively expensive to extend three-phase power, forcing customers to choose among problematic options such as static or rotary phase converters or derating three-phase VFDs, which can produce harmful harmonics that can damage sensitive electronics. This partnership allows SPPS to better design custom power sources to suit site-specific needs, with no harmonics, noreliability issues, and no tuning required.
The partnership with Yaskawa provides substantial benefits, including an IEEE 519 compliant productwith a total harmonic distortion of less than 10% which reduces installation costs. Drive sizing is moreaccurately accomplished, eliminating the need to oversize, thus saving acquisition and operating costs.Single Phase Power Solutionswww.nedinfo.com/80230-27
COMPACT INTEGRATED MOTOR/ACTUATOR
An integrated motor/actuator, the Exlar GTX060 is the third frame size in the GTX integrated motor/actuator series of industrial electromechanical actuators.
The GTX Series actuators offer force, precision, and repeatability while eliminating or minimizing the maintenance and inefficiencies typical of fluid power alternatives. With continuousforce ratings up to 600 lb-ft and speeds to 40 in/sec in both VAC and VDC power options, theGTX060’s compact form can be applied across a wide range of automation applications.
The GTX Series features include:
• High capacity planetary roller screws offering up to 15X the life and higher shock load
resistance than a comparably sized ball screw
• New splined rod option eliminating the need for an external anti-rotational device
• IP66S environmental protection
• Connects with most leading motion/motor controllers
• Removable front seal bushings to simplify maintenance and re-greasing of nut assembly
to maximize actuator life
• Bolt-on mounting accessories for simplified installation and ease of field replacement
