Thepalletizer is space-saving with a small footprint; it starts at just 8 x 10ft ( 2.44 x 3.05 m).

Designed to fulfill two critical needs via a single component in highaccuracy robots, the KCI 120 Dplus rotary encoder is an absoluteencoder that provides both reliable feedback to a robot’s motor andaccurate position measurement to its controller to enable safe andaccurate motion.
Extremely compact, the encoder consists of one scanning head andtwo different types of rotor units, all connectable to a controller/drivevia a single cable. Only 0.79 in. ( 20 mm) in height, its small footprintand low weight makes it useful in tight installation spaces, renderingit attractive for a variety of high accuracy motion control applications.
The rigid design of the encoder permits high vibration loads of upto 400 m/s2 on the stator and 600 m/s2 on the rotor. With its robustinductive scanning method, the encoder is particularly resistant tocontamination and magnetic fields.

The system is comprised of tools, abrasives, and process expertise all designed to work together with a range of robots. Defects repaired by robotswill focus on paint defects like dirt, fiber, and pops. Repairs will be completedcompetently and efficiently with cycle times equal to or faster than currentoperations. Defects on or near vehicle feature lines can be more challengingdue to specific limitations of the robot and/or the vision system.
