The Rex is powered with a high-definition precision LiDAR sensor. With 32 lasers, four depthcameras, and three sonar sensors, it has a scancoverage diameter of 656.2 ft (200 m), enablingit to optimize its cleaning path accordingly. Withauto-docking capabilities, the Rex automatically returns to the docking station after eachcleaning cycle where it charges and managesits solution levels with automated rinsing andwater exchange.

The family offers a variety of ways of loading and unloading machines basedon the size, shapes, and amount of the workpieces being handled.
Featuring standardized interchangeable modules, the FlexLoader M offers a flexible and expandable solution for a wide variety of machine tending applications including lathes, mills, CNC, andmachining centers. A key benefit is the ability to use the same base machine, exchanging infeed andoutfeed modules as requirements change.
The robot cells are extremely user-friendly and quick to program, even without specific roboticsexpertise. All the variants can be fitted with a vision system that identifies the workpiece’s positionand gives commands to the robot, machine tools, and other cell equipment.
Chain for 3D Movement
To ensure that cables on industrial robots can be guided in motion safely, easily,and compactly, the triflex TRX EnergyChain is a four-dimensional energy chainin which the retraction system is alreadyintegrated. It’s space saving, can be fixedon the third axis, and ensures a retractionlength of up to 40%.
It relies on a screw connector systemin the unique mechanism as well as on an integrated reset band. The cables are placed in thechain in the form of a spiral and are guided safely in the movement with the help of the chain.
In addition, the cables and hoses are fastened in place in the middle of the TRX so that they donot leave their position when the chain is pulled. Compared to other retraction systems, the usersaves up to 83% weight and requires less than half the space.
Human-Like Inspection Unit
The Vision Robot Unit (VRU) has an innovative islanddesign that comprises a highly versatile “plug & play” concept with a freely configurable infeed and outfeed. TheVRU is also scalable, as multiple vision inspection unitscan be added to increase throughput. Its no glass-to-glass inspection process mitigates the likelihoodof product damage or breakage.
VRU is able to improve its inspection performancewith AI technology and can quickly react to changingproduct characteristics—including active ingredientvariations, differing fill levels, and different containers—even throughout a single batch. It’s also adaptive, exhibiting continuous machine learning from both production and operatorstimuli. The end result is an improvement in the reduction in both false rejects and false positives.
