TRUSTED SMART FACTORYCNC COORDINATE MEASUREMENT
After an afternoon of prep work (removing all traces of the failed adhesiveand filing away a few decades worthof corrosion), I set to work. This time, there was no prying open dried-up tubs,no guestimating volumes, no room foruser-error. I simply folded the pack inhalf, snipped it open, and emptied thecontents onto some spare cardboard. Aquick stir and I was ready to apply.
My first impression was that thisthixotropic filler absolutely lived up toEichacker’s hype—I was able to applyit to the full 360-deg. contours of thejunction point without experiencing anydrip or run. As a particularly sloppy, er-ror-prone handyman, this was well-appreciated.
Likewise, the gap-filling characteristics provided what felt like a secure, snugfit between these two oddly paired components—a fit that felt settled and strongafter just 4 minutes.
The next evening was the real test. Ihave this troublesome hardwood stumpI’ve been hacking at for months with little progress (besides busting my axe), soit became my target.
The EP5 survived the first swing. Itsurvived the second. An hour later, after a steady volley of too hard, too wildswings, this single packet-worth of epoxywas still holding strong—much strongerat that point than my exhausted back.
I called it there. This stuff clearly works.
